A recipe for success if you will.
Because sometimes I just run out of ideas; I have no idea what to cook or what to draw.
Creativity block? I guess it's all a part of the process.
Thankfully I have some fail-safe backups, like sketching the alphabet or serving a big delicious bowl of ricotta.
And you know what? People LOVE it! Yah, that's you winning at life.
1/2 pound ricotta
(higher quality ricotta tastes significantly better, try checking at Italian markets or cheese shops or you can make your own!)
2 Tablespoons chopped fresh herbs (sage, rosemary, thyme) + 2 Tablespoons chopped basil
Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper
1. put the ricotta in a serving bowl
2. mix half of the chopped herbs/basil in with the ricotta with a large pinch of salt & ground pepper
3. sprinkle the remaining herbs on top. Top it off with a very generous drizzle of olive oil, a sprinkle of salt & a little more ground black pepper.
Done and Done. It's hardly even a recipe but it's downright tasty.
I like to serve it with a crusty loaf of bread, crackers, sliced up veggies, pita, or some grilled bread.
